In March 2015, the Italian company for lamp production Buzzi&Buzzi announced that it was going to invest in Prilep. They initially announced investing 300,000 euros and employ 20 people.
At that time, company officials held a working meeting with the mayor of Prilep, Marjan Ristevski, at which they presented their plans.
"So far we have factories in Shanghai, Dubai, New York and Italy, and now we have opened a plant in Prilep. We decided to come to Macedonia following the recommendation of other foreign investors who had invested in Prilep before. They told us of the favorable business climate here. We produce lights for fashion brands, such as Versace, Armani, Benetton and others. The first phase of our production cycle will from now on take place in Prilep", said Dario Buzzi, a representative of the company, adding the Prilep company was registered under the name Dan Innovation.
The latest Central Registry data show that the noncurrent assets of the company amount to about 21,000 euros, and that the company had 9 employees in 2015 and 2016.
